Sydney Harbor & Tower


Sydney is Australia’s famous harbour city and capital of New South Wales. We spent only 3 days in Sydney, but we were able to see the main attractions there. Sydney is a beautiful city and we explored it by walking everywhere. To me, there is no better way to feel a city’s atmosphere than by foot. First thing first, we started our journey by visiting Sydney Harbour with the gorgeous Opera House in it. That building is magical. I felt like I couldn’t get enough of it.

Staying Active

In this post I just want to mention some activities that we were involved recently, or we are still keeping up with. Starting in September, we had 5 kayaking classes through the Robert E Lee Recreation Center, which were a light workout and fun. We never tried kayaking before, but it was fairly easy on the nice and calm Lake Accotink. Besides, the weather was beautiful most of the time, which made our kayak rides even more enjoyable.

Pumpkin Season 2016

Pumpkin Season is here. While driving on Franconia Road, we noticed this cute Pumpkinville. This is a family owned business, which offers various Halloween decorations. We stopped there to enjoy their festive atmosphere with pumpkins, gourds, hay bales and mums.
