Ke$ha Concert

We had a chance to go to a Ke$ha concert during her country wide Warrior Tour with special guests Mike Posner and Semi Precious Weapons on August 12th. Her performance was at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Ke$ha is a popular Pop artist. This musician has released a variety of albums and made a number of popular tunes like Tik Tok, Your Love Is My Drug and Take It Off. Music fans around the country gathered once again to spend a night listening to their most loved Ke$ha tunes.

Semi Precious Weapons was the opening band. Semi Precious Weapons’ debut album, We Love You (2008), caught the attention of Lady Gaga, who asked them to be a part of The Monster Ball Tour. Now with their third album in the works, the band continues to give audiences edgy performances. They knew how to work it on stage and in their music.

The second opening act was Detroit-born R&B singer Mike Posner, who is known for hits “Cooler Than Me” and “Please Don’t Go”.

Ke$ha delivered every one of her most well-liked songs for her dedicated followers.

It wouldn’t be a Ke$ha show without multiple costume changes. To entertain the crowd, a series of sensual short videos set to live music were played accompanied by her talented backup band.

The entire evening was full of smoke and glitter guns, that showered the audience and great live music that sounded true to the clarity of her studio versions. The explicit show was a thrill ride of can’t help but dance to music, impressive vocals, and digital and live special effects.

Ke$ha’s performance attracted quite a crowd. The amphitheater inside was packed and even more fans gathered outside on the grass.

From grinding sparks and fabulous dancers to mind bending visuals and catchy music, it was quite the concert experience full of explicit lyrics and shock and awe pyrotechnics. The staging for the show was filled with featured moving set pieces, inflatable props, industrial machinery and more!

Ke$ha, the wildly popular rock and pop diva, threw quite a party for her devoted glitter and neon paint-covered fans. She is an amazing performer!

The concert was great and we really enjoyed it! It was energetic and Ke$ha truly loves her fans.  The sound was very crisp and clear, despite the large audience and open area. The high-energy audience made the whole experience even more fun. Thumbs up for an energetic evening of rock and pop that delivered stunning visuals, amazing dancers, and Ke$ha’s remarkable live singing.

After the concert, we had to wait around 1.5 hours to get out of the parking lot, but other than that Dave and I had a great evening. We had fun at the concert and had a nice dinner at the EVO Bistro before the concert.
