New Year’s Eve 2018

New Year’s Eve 2018 we celebrated in the Chart House restaurant, which is located on the bank of the Potomac River.

We arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm. The New Year’s Eve event included a 4 course signature menu created by Executive Chef Jeff Lewis, live entertainment, fireworks show and champagne toast at midnight, raffles throughout the night and swag bag for every guest.

We visit Chart House only on special occasions. This restaurant has a very good location by the water and very nice atmosphere inside. And again, you can’t beat the location right on the Potomac, next to the Torpedo Factory which is an artist co-op, and tons of fun shops. There were many interesting celebrating events outside, but it was way too cold for us. 🙂

Our meals. Everything was very tasty.

We enjoyed a nice view of the Potomac from the panoramic windows of the restaurant.

Beautiful fireworks at midnight!

On our way to the parking garage. The crowd was celebrating on the streets of old town Alexandria. 2018 has arrived!

Upon our arrival home, we had some champagne and watched the recorded NY Ball Drop. Happy New Year 2018!
