One of the fun evenings spent with our friends was at Arcadia Beach. The famous Arcadia is the most popular resort district of Odessa, with a beach and park of the same name. Situated about a 15 minute drive from Odessa city center, Arcadia offers relaxing beaches, fine dining, entertainment and more.
The main entrance to the beach is adjacent to a long, shady boulevard, which welcomes visitors with plenty of entertainment options from karaoke to go-carting. Street vendors sell everything from cigarettes to paintings. The main strip is lined up with palm trees and provides access to the central beach Arcadia, which is within walking distance.
There were 3 huge birds like this one available to visitors for a souvenir picture.
Upon reaching the beach, visitors can either turn left to the main beach, or turn right to smaller stretches of sand, which are a little more private, but do not offer the facilities that the main beach does.
Those who are looking for a bit of excitement and action can rent a jet ski or choose from other water sports offered there. There are changing rooms and showers located on the beach, and there is also spa service available .
The main beach has water slides, as well as umbrellas and lounging chairs for rent.
Situated near the entrance sign of Arcadia Beach and just before reaching the beach itself, the Ibiza nightclub is a very popular night time entertainment venue for tourists and locals.
Servers from the beach bar looked busy delivering food and drinks to sunbathers on the beach.
Visitors can choose from dozens of cafés, kiosks and restaurants serving a wide variety of tasty meals, snacks and drinks located at the Arcadia Waterfront Boardwalk. Food selection ranges from shish kebab kiosks to Japanese cuisine.
We finished our nice relaxing evening out at the beach nightclub “Itaka”. The nightclub is beautiful and service was excellent there. The nice warm weather and great company made this evening perfect for us.
